COACH SEAN
HEAD COACH/CO-FOUNDER
Meet Coach Sean: coach, corporate lawyer, Canadian Forces Officer, Marda Loop Community Association Director, and the driving force behind Highpoint Athletics.
Sean's diverse background tells the story of someone committed to service. As an ultramarathoner and former football player who's always eager to try new sports, Sean embodies the growth mindset he teaches.
While living in London, England, Sean founded a coaching company that partnered with organizations like the Jacksonville Jaguars and the NFL, and worked alongside professional athletes such as Marshawn Lynch and Josh Johnson. Coaching has always been a passion of his, and he is excited to begin coaching again here in Calgary, where he can combine his professional expertise with his love of sports to help develop the next generation of athletes in his own community.
MACKENZIE
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS/CO-FOUNDER
Meet Mackenzie: designer, multi-sport rec athlete, and the operational backbone of Highpoint Athletics.
As a designer by day, Mackenzie brings a creative eye and strategic thinking to her role handling administration and marketing for Highpoint Athletics. While she may not be on the court coaching, her impact is felt in every aspect of the organization - from the first impression families get when they reach out, to the seamless operations that keep programs running smoothly.
Mackenzie's love for sports extends far beyond her professional involvement. As a multi-sport rec athlete, she and Sean can be found competing in leagues throughout Calgary, embodying the active lifestyle and competitive spirit that Highpoint promotes. Her diverse athletic background gives her genuine insight into what drives young athletes and their families.
Whether you're calling with questions about registration, scheduling, or simply want to learn more about what Highpoint Athletics offers, Mackenzie is likely the friendly, knowledgeable voice you'll hear on the other end.
